FIUP web site description

Founded over 145 years ago, the University of Bucharest is today the most important university in Romania. Its eighteen faculties offer a hundred programs at the master’s level as well as fifty doctoral programs. The University has also, over time, created fifty centres and institutes for research.

In the context of its 150 international cooperation agreements, the University each year welcomes a large number of foreign visiting professors and over a thousand students from abroad, of whom over 10% are enrolled in doctoral studies.
