With 26% of its students of foreign origin and a highly cosmopolitan staff, the Université libre de Bruxelles is thoroughly international and multicultural, open to Europe and the world. The ULB is actively committed to the dynamic of international programs of research and development as well as student mobility, being the forerunner of the european networks of the capital cities universities and having built an international network of privileged partners from the most prestigious universities (UC Berkeley, Oxford, Montreal, UBC, Fudan, Paris VI). The ULB comprises eleven faculties, schools and institutes. It is a comprehensive university offering a complete range of subjects at all levels of study. The ULB is a major research centre recognised throughout the world academic community, as attested by 3 on the 5 Belgian Nobel prize winners, 3 Wolf prizes, and 1 Fields medal.
